Call for Papers

Scope

SecureComm is celebrating its 16th year as one of the highest-quality conferences for research in secure communications and networking. This year’s conference seeks high-quality research contributions in the form of well-developed papers. Topics of interest encompass research advances in ALL areas of secure communications and networking. Topics in other areas (e.g., formal methods, database security, secure software, theoretical cryptography) will be considered only if a clear connection to private or secure communication/networking is demonstrated.

 

The submissions have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).

Submit paper to late track

We solicit submissions to the conference for the late breaking results track. These submissions are expected to be less mature than typical research papers, more thought-provoking, radically-changing and potentially transformative research ideas that will complement our main track and trigger community discussions. They will be published in the conference proceedings like the main track papers and presented mixed with the regular track papers in the program.

Submission Instructions

Papers should be submitted using HotCRP system at https://securecomm20.hotcrp.com and must comply with Springer LNCS format. Papers should be in English. Regular papers should be no more than 18 pages in LNCS format, excluding references and well-marked appendices (note that the final camera-ready version of the paper must be no more than 20 pages in total). Paper review will be double-blind; please ensure that your submissions have been anonymized prior to submission. Non-blinded submissions will be rejected without review. Previously published work may not be submitted, nor may the work be concurrently submitted to any other conference or journal; these submissions will be rejected without review. Detailed submission instructions can be found on the conference website (www.securecomm.org).

Publication

All registered papers will be submitted for publishing by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.
SecureComm proceedings are indexed in leading indexing services, including Ei Compendex, ISI Web of Science, Scopus, CrossRef, Google Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL).

When uploading the camera-ready copy of your paper, please be sure to upload both:

  • a PDF copy of your paper formatted according to the above templates, and
  • an archive file (e.g. zip, tar.gz) containing the both a PDF copy of your paper and LaTeX or Word source material prepared according to the above guidelines.
